* What does the V1 cost?

* What does the V2 cost?
$4,500, plus shipping.

* What will shipping cost?
Price depends on geographic location and which RAMPBOSS model you choose.  Domestic US prices range between $450 to $650 for V1, V2, V3 models.  All models arrive individually packaged on a 4 x 14 foot custom heavy duty wood pallet.

* Is financing available?

* Are they made in America?
YES. We have recently moved to a brand new 8000 square foot facility in Perrinton, Michigan.

* What's the purchase procedure?
Send us an email with your name, title, company name, complete ship to & bill to addresses, phone and fax numbers. Otherwise, just give us a call.  Once you receive our itemized Purchase Agreement for an authorized signature, you will return the Agreement by fax, email, or US Postal Service. We do accept business checks or other certifiable funds for 1/2 the total sale price as a security deposit. The balance is due within 5 business days of delivery. 

* How is it delivered?
Displays are delivered bound to a single custom pallet via common LTL carriers. Truckers may, or may not, assist with offloading at your location. For a small fee a lift gate delivery truck can be requested and arranged in advance; otherwise a few physically fit guys can disband and unload it in a short time. Inspect your display for shipping damage before signing any Proof Of Delivery document.

* What is the delivery time after an order is placed?
Delivery times fluctuate due to demand, build schedule, inventory, and for customized orders. Deliveries range between 5 business days for in-stock units, to as many as 5 to 7 weeks for back ordered units. Orders and deliveries are on a first come basis.

* Will I need installation & training assistance?
The RAMPBOSS displays are safe and simple to assemble and operate. All new owners are provided detailed written instructions. Users MUST thoroughly read and understand the process before assembly and operation. RAMPBOSS customer assistance is available around the clock to help with instructions, or for simple reassurance. * How long to assemble and put a car on display?
Although the five major components are simple to assemble, speed depends on experience and ranges between 1-hour for first time users working through the printed instructions, to about 20-minutes once you've gained some experienced. Never set up your display while in a hurry.

* Can it be easily moved around my lot?
The total weigh of the V1 is almost 800 pounds and is divided between four primary components tied together with a steel cross member beam connecting the two sides. It takes two men less than 10 minutes to disassemble for transport. Components can be shuttled around using a two wheeled hand cart for the V1. The V-2 weighs nearly 1,300 lb. total, and the new V3 weighs nearly 1600 and will require a bit more physical effort and/or light material handling equipment.

* What effort goes into tilting a vehicle on the display?
Relatively little. Typical weight distribution of most vehicles is 60/40 with most of the weight at the front end. The pivot points of the ramp beams are situated slightly forward to compensate for the imbalance. Operators twist the turnbuckle screws open (apart) or closed (together) to raise or lower the front of the vehicle. You will be pleasantly surprised by how easy two people can manipulate a vehicle when working together. Your time and effort ultimately results in superior product presentations, bolsters brand integrity, and increases the perceived value of your featured vehicles on your frontline, or "on location".

* Can I put rear engine vehicles on the display?
Yes. Most rear engine vehicles like Lamborghini, Lotus, and other exotics have relatively even weight distribution, and the RAMPBOSS works perfectly. If you have unusual situations, conditions, or concerns, please call. 

* Can you use it in your showroom?
Yes. However, you will need to consider protecting the floor against potential scrapes, carpet indentations and interior decor concerns. 2-Inch wide self-adhesive thin rubber strips can be stuck to the bottom to protect hard wood or tile floors.

* Can I request a different metal finish?   All V1's come with standard silver galvanized metal finish with polished aluminum diamond plate facades.  All newly produced V2's & V3's will come with a lifetime rust-proof guarentee and painted dark gunmetal grey with polished diamond plate facades.  Custom powder coat paint can be matched for an additional fee.  Paint brands and colors differ in price, please call for details.

* What about replacement parts and accessories?
The only moving parts are two turnbuckles and are available whenever you feel it's time for replacing. We are always exploring new accessories, and our customers will be advised of developments. Check our Product News page for the latest info.

* What about maintenance?
We recommend replacing well maintained turnbuckles every 5 years. Turnbuckles not cleaned and re-greased quarterly should be replaced at 3-year intervals. Much depends on environmental conditions, but do inspect the turnbuckles regularly for any signs of wear, or a need for cleaning and/or re-greasing. When cleaning, always twist the turnbuckles all the way in and out evenly to be sure grease is applied to all treads right up to the "jaw" ends. It's imperative to have the same number of threads appearing at both ends of both turnbuckles.

* What do you recommend for cleaning the display?
Mild liquid dish soap and a soft sponge or towel prevents scratching the standard equipped polished aluminum diamond plate facades. Scratches and dings to the structural steel components can be touched up using a can of similarly colored rust preventative paint to keep the parts looking like new.

* Can I get quantity discounts?
Please keep in mind our displays are entirely hand crafted and priced fairly with respect to the high quality of materials and craftmanship going into each unit. That being said, a modest discount can be applied when ordering three or more units going to one location.

* Can I rent a display for special events?
A conditional yes. Although RAMPBOSS is not in the rental business yet, we work with auto dealers around the country who may be willing to provide their RAMPBOSS displays for rent during special events and trade shows. Rental prices can range between $1000 to $1500 per day. Call for details.
